History of W&B Gold Leaf

Proudly supporting the incredible art of gilding for over 100 years, W&B Gold Leaf, LLC started business in 1905 as Wehrung & Billmeier, producing Gold leaf, silver leaf, and precious metal leaf products. Gilding products manufactured in the United States are still produced under the Wehrung & Billmeier name to this day. Wehrung & Billmeier roll gold and true gold foil, silver foil, and other specialty precious metal products.
The W&B Gold Leaf, LLC seal is a recognized symbol of excellence and authenticity in the gilding products industry, and W&B Gold Leaf is often considered the highest quality in the industry. Wehrung & Billmeier and subsequently W&B Gold Leaf, LLC have been providing businesses, artists, and craftspeople alike with their metal leaf and gilding products for well over 100 years.
We are a 4th generation family owned business and we proudly work tirelessly to keep the tradition of American manufacturing of gold leaf, silver leaf, and metal leaf products alive and well!
